“Neat that a player asks his coach down to his tournament. Makes me feel good,” Harbaugh told 49ers.com. “He’s a pro’s pro. He’s a leader of men. He doesn’t always say a lot of things but does the action. Everybody’s smart to watch him and learn from him. He’s doing the same thing here in community.

The San Francisco Giants celebrated Candlestick Park Thursday night. The Giants also invited current and former members of the 49ers to take part in the festivities. Former Giants manager Roger Craig and Giants infielder Shawon Dunston represented San Francisco's baseball team in the first pitch ceremony. For the football side, former 49ers linebacker Keena Turner tossed a football to former 49ers tight end Brent Jones.
"It was a little windy tonight, so it was a little bit like catching a knuckleball," Jones said via MLB.com. "I just wanted to make sure I didn’t drop it, but it was special being out here and seeing some of my childhood heroes."

3. Mock City
Mock draft season is still in full effect. We released our fourth "49ers Mock Draft Tracker" and the findings are very similar. Several top draft pundits have the 49ers choosing either a wide receiver or a cornerback.
USC wide receiver Marqise Lee is a popular choice. "Why his stock is falling is a mystery," wrote Pete Prisco of CBS Sports. "The 49ers need weapons."

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced they've signed Pro Bowl center Alex Mack to an offer sheet. Now, the Cleveland Browns must decide if they want to match the lucrative contract.
